Donations from the MASC to the eco-beat series will support WaterAid to deliver clean water to communities hardest hit by extreme weather conditions such as too much rain—causing flooding, or too little rain—causing drought: Events that have been worsened by climate change. Half of the population of the world now experience no clean water for much of the year. Book donations will enable WaterAid to help deliver clean water to combat disease, thereby allowing children to go to school and adults to earn a living in communities that have been the hardest hit, but who have contributed the least to these changes in our global climate.
